About the WInemaker

Antoine Arraou is a fine and natural winemaker, one of the brightest stars of Jurançon and a leading ambassador for artisan wines in the entire Southwest wine region. He lives with his wife and children in a stunning 14th century manor house in Monein and farms 5 hectares of vines with uncompromising respect for nature and the environment. Certified by Demeter, all the work is done by hand with the support of plants, fruit trees, cereal crops, sheep and bees. The winery is a work of art, set on different levels to privilege gravity during the vinification process, and house an extensive range of aging vessels. The wines are different, special, unique, and Antoine is too. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. He will give you a warm welcome and an unforgettable tasting that will change your vision of the vine and wine forever.
