A Bras le Cot
A triple alliance of Côt (Malbec) from #prayssac close to the River Lot. A blend of Simon Busser’s 2021, 2022 and 2023 vintages aged in demi-muids and concrete tanks in all beauty and simplicity. Jolly, welcoming, bouncy, round, singing 4-and-20 black-fruits-baked-in-a-pie. Light the bbq and share massively. 11.5°

About the winemaker
Simon busser has been making natural wine from the grapes he grows on the family farm down by the River Lot for 20 years, but April frost is a challenge in the valley, and last year’s double-whammy was catastrophic. To make 𝔸 𝔹𝕣𝕒𝕤 𝕕𝕖𝕤 ℂô𝕥𝕤, “a real crowdpleaser”, he assembled the 2021, 2022 and 2023 vintages. Need to go back and get his new whites (chenin and savagnin) and in back again after that for his pinot noir and…grenache!
